Workshop - building web application using python3.4/python3.5 (focused on coroutines and async stuff) using TDD

A session at PyCon Ireland 2015

  • Tomasz Czyż

Sunday 25th October, 2015

10:50am to 1:00pm (DMT)

Workshop topic is to build simple microservice (webapplication) in python3.5 (but python3.4 will be suitable as well). Firstly, a few terms like asynchrony, parallelism, concurrency, coroutines will be explained. Then we will implement first test in pytest framework (using testing framework will be limited in this talk, it will be used only to keep good practices but there will be no focus on it). To build web application, python3.5 coroutines and aiohttp framework will be used.
