Creating wrist-based automotive apps for Apple Watch

A session at TECH.insight "Automotive", featuring Google and AKQA

  • Aaron Tunney
  • Emile Swain

When Apple revealed their latest product, Apple Watch, in front of a worldwide audience, it was clear that, given the right development software, a new class of app was possible - one more personal and individual than ever before. In this talk, Aaron Tunney and Emile Swain of AKQA’s R&D team introduce us to WatchKit, the development toolkit for Apple Watch, explaining its innovations and limitations in the context of designing and building a prototype automotive app to be worn on the wrist.
