Self Organized Learning Environments
Implementing a SOLE design for student learning recognizes the need for students to develop 21st Century skills such as communication, collaboration, and creativity, while taking full advantage of the web for information. This is particularly true when using an Inquiry Based Learning model. The teacher’s role changes from lecturer to facilitator, and there is an increase in student motivation. We will focus on the philosophy of SOLEs, IBL, and physical set-up.
