Understanding Reactive Architecture

A session at ArchConf

Tuesday 5th April, 2016

3:15pm to 4:45pm (PST)

The term “reactive architecture” is quickly becoming a common entry on most buzzword bingo cards. But what does this term really mean? In this session you will learn what it means for an architecture to be reactive as well as the differences between reactive programming and reactive architecture. Using the reactive manifesto as a guide, I will cover some architecture techniques for making architectures reactive, how to navigate around the reactive product space, and how to avoid the hype around reactive architecture.
