A guide to multi-organisational distributed Scrum

A session at Scrum Australia 2016

Thursday 28th April, 2016

10:45am to 11:35am (EST)

Distributed Scrum is a challenging endeavour; especially when the project is undertaken by multiple parties/organisations. At Butterfly, we have recently undertaken a very successful distributed project utilising the Scrum framework. Whilst we had the luxury of working in the same time zone, the team was distributed across three different companies.

There is no one “right” way for enacting distributed Scrum. Scrum must be fit for purpose. In this presentation, I am going to talk about different methods to apply the Scrum framework in a distributed project, the pros and cons of each approach, and how we did it at Butterfly!
