What can we create, given unlimited blocks and (virtually) unlimited friends? As a learning space, Minecraft promotes collaborative, imaginative play, and offers an incredibly extensible platform for Mathematics, Literacy, Art, History, Geography, Science, Music, Computer Programming. Explore storytelling, simulation, mapping, music composition, architecture, coding and machine building. Join with the @gamingEDUs to play and learn about unleashing the creativity of your students through the magic of Minecraft within Creative Mode.
Participants should bring a computing device capable of running a version of Minecraft. (Windows or Mac preferred. If you have a tablet device, please download Minecraft PE from your devices App Store prior to the workshop.)
