JSData: Architect the JavaScript model layer you've been craving

A session at Boise Code Camp 2016

Saturday 19th March, 2016

11:10am to 12:25pm (MST)

Session Level: 200

The struggle is real. With so many options for data persistence, it can be difficult to design the optimal data layer. Pushing and pulling models is often a challenge, and it's hard to find a front-end library that actually works, is easy to use, and is framework & data store agnostic.

If you too are looking for a solution, join me in this session. I will demonstrate how the educational portal at BoiseCodeWorks is architected and provide real world examples of working with both relational and non-relational data stores while maintaining a mind-bogglingly simple model layer. If you, like me, have tried frameworks such as BreezeJs, Restangular, JayData, etc., and wanted to throw your laptop against the wall, join me and learn how to make your life much, much easier.
