Making JavaScript's Prototypes Work For You

A session at Boise Code Camp 2016

Saturday 19th March, 2016

1:40pm to 2:55pm (MST)

Session Level: 100

We have all worked with prototypes in JavaScript. Maybe we have even read how to they are supposed to work. But do we really know how to use them effectively? We will cover some situations where they can be leveraged to simplify your code and then some ways to use them to make your code better.

Jedediah Smith

I am a committed developer who loves the industry and thrives on doing things better. Over the last couple of years I have come to enjoy working with complex data processing and been focusing on JavaScript. I enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems whether it be a complex mathematical array or the puzzle of helping others improve their code while respecting individual skills and differences.

One goal I have is to bring more of the big data processing world into the JavaScript ecosystem which would allow greater opportunities to involve anyone on the web in remote data processing.
