Lightning Talks: Whirlwind tour of technology

A session at Boise Code Camp 2016

Saturday 19th March, 2016

4:30pm to 5:45pm (MST)

Session Level: 100

Technology has more aspects than you can shake a stick at. In this presentation, the goal of the talk is to introduce you to new topics to allow you to go home and study in depth. All topics will be strictly limited to 5 minutes. After each topic is completed, a brief survey will be conducted to see how many people knew of the topic and then we will move on. The last 20 minutes will be reserved for audience questions or audience lightening talks. As an added bonus, a prize will be given for any audience member that comes up with topics the presenters have not heard of before!

Example topics (these may not be the topics presented on!):

  • UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface)
  • Oracle's Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML)
  • Unit Testing with Pex
