Behavioural Tracking: Architecture for data pipelines

A session at Crunch Conference 2016

SoundCloud is one of the largest audio platforms in a world that is becoming increasingly data-driven. Understanding the interactions of users has become essential to building consumer facing products and requires significant infrastructure to make it happen. This talk will cover the architectural evolution of event data at SoundCloud from ingestion, transmission, computation to query. We'll look at our various use cases and evaluate the technical tradeoffs we've made along the way.
