Arguing About Marx

A session at 2016 European Students For Liberty Conference

  • Kyle Walker

Saturday 12th March, 2016

11:30am to 12:00pm (CET)

Classical liberals and conservatives sometimes make bad arguments about Marx and his philosophy. In this session I will describe the Marxist theory of history and social change, point out some of the bad reasons commonly given for rejecting this theory, and offer some objections to Marx’s theory that are much more forceful reasons to reject Marxism.
