[DO] How we deploy the Twitter Widgets Javascript to a billion users

A session at Full Stack Toronto Conference 2016 - #fstoco

Tuesday 18th October, 2016

10:00am to 10:40am (EST)

It is no news that frontend code is doing more and more real work. Yet, our frontend deploy processes don't have the fine grained control that backend deploys have. I'll discuss how we upgraded our frontend deploy processes recently so they are saner and less scary. Now we can deploy a new version of javascript, slowly, in phases, with better error detection and rollback capabilities.
