In modern development world everybody understand benefits from testing. In theory most of Java developers even know that unit and intergation tests are must to have, functional tests in addition are even better. But they really don't know the answer on question "HOW?". The reason is in real life everything is not so simple as in samples from StackOverflow.

In this talk we will have short theoretical part about testing pyramid and ways to grow and balance it. Then I will share my personal experience and applied tools in testing for different layers of Java applications with RDBMS, NoSQL storages, file system, MVC frameworks, REST services and other regular components of modern systems. We will have no slides but much code and tests...
