How to Get More than Code into Your OSS Project

A session at php[world] 2016

Thursday 17th November, 2016

3:00pm to 4:00pm (EST)

Many OSS projects start with code and revolve around code throughout the contribution process. WordPress is no exception. With its broad spectrum of users, WordPress has learned that there is much more than code when it comes to contributing to open source, both in software and the broader community. During this talk, I will discuss incorporating non-coding contributions into a project, how that can bring in new and fresh perspectives, and how it helps expand an OSS project’s reach.
