SANS 2016

Best Cyber Security Training Event of the Year

Currently in read only mode, sorry about that, please try again in a few hours.

It is time we unite, join forces, and show that if we work together, we can make a measurable difference in cybersecurity. It is our pleasure to announce that SANS 2016 is back in Orlando, Florida March 12-21 with cutting-edge courses taught by top industry professionals who will provide you with the best available information and software security training.
We are saddened by the number of organizations struggling with security and ultimately getting breached. Many people may feel protecting their information and infrastructure is a losing battle. Our efforts are anything but a losing battle. Much of the problem is that organizations and people have not been given proper guidance and direction. Imagine if you played soccer your entire life, and then, without warning, you are placed on a U.S. football team. Consider the fear and frustration you would experience at your first game. You would be confused, and might give up. You did nothing wrong, but the rules of the game changed and no one told you. This is exactly what happened with cybersecurity. Cybersecurity significantly changed many years ago, but entities are still using the old playbook and it is not working. Our goals for SANS 2016 are to demonstrate how you can win at security and to teach you specific techniques that will improve your security skills. At this training event you will develop a customized playbook that allows you to tackle your cybersecurity needs.
More than 35 information security courses will be taught by SANS’ top instructors and many of those courses can prepare you for a prestigious GIAC certification. There will be numerous opportunities to learn new skills, techniques, and trends at the @Night talks, vendor expo, lunch and learns and by networking with your peers. Hear the latest and most important issues facing your profession, led by SANS practitioners who are leading the global conversation on cybersecurity. We look forward to seeing you there!
