Making the Most of the Out-of-the-Box Web Parts

A session at SPTechCon - San Francisco - 2016

Monday 5th December, 2016

8:30am to 9:45am (PST)

There are over 50 out-of-the-box web parts in the enterprise version of SharePoint! In this class, learn just how flexible and useful these Web parts are. Office 365 also has a new way of building pages, which is a much improved interface for web parts, which is also covered. Not only will you get a detailed look at the Filter, Excel, Social, Rollup and Video web parts, but you will learn about how flexible the newer Content Search Web Part is, and what’s brand new in Office 365. Examples are shown, along with demonstrations of old and new features. All of this is done without writing any code. Push SharePoint as far as you can using out-of-box functionality! This class is a mixture of 2013, 2016, and Office 365 Web parts.
