Students expect services to be quick and convenient when they need it. Parents and faculty desires are similar as well. Southern Methodist University provides students and parents access to student records information via self-service. Students can sign-up for orientation, accept financial aid, review and pay their invoices, enroll for classes, change their class schedule, elect/waive medical insurance, view service indictors (holds/blocks), update biographical information (addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts), view grades, view degree progress report, file for graduation, and order transcripts. Parents can view different parts of student records, if student grants permission.
Faculty can view class roster with photos, record grades, change grades, send email notification to class, and view students contact information.
