In every lecture theater, common room, meeting space and seminar room in your institution students and staff are (or should be taking notes). Why? A number of answers are commonly given “it’s the standard”, “for revision”, “for later reference” “because everyone else is doing it”. OK, so then when you to use these notes (for exam boards, progression, supervision) are they effective, i.e. accessible, searchable, shareable, annotated? In some cases yes but anecdotal evidence suggests not generally. We look at the institutional uses of ONENOTE to enables institutions to go further, faster
