Break Out Session 3: Supporting Students with disabilities and medical conditions

A session at SROC 2016

Tuesday 5th April, 2016

4:15pm to 5:15pm (GMT)

Institution: Loughborough University

This seminar will provide an opportunity to share experiences on how colleagues in different institutions are supporting students with disabilities and medical conditions. This seminar will start with an introduction on the work being undertaken by CDS and the Change Team at Loughborough to review assessment provision and communication regarding adjustment recommendations including the piloting of an Individual Learning Agreement. We will then provide discussion topics and facilitate the group in sharing experiences, providing attendees with an opportunity to gain an insight in to how others perceive and tackle challenges within their own institutions.

Target Audience:
This session will be of interest to those with a role in assessment and supporting students with additional needs.
