Wednesday 9th November, 2016

1:45pm to 2:30pm (CET)

The development of an information product is a multifaceted process that requires an ever increasing volume and variety of skills and competencies with distinctive job roles. The tekom competence framework developed in 2015 provides a systematic approach to define the phases in the information product development together with the required competencies. It includes an open profiling tool. It will be demonstrated how the profiling tool can be used to determine which competencies are available in your department or are still needed. If you are a technical writer you will see, which skills are needed to bring you into a better job.
