Another Popular Framework That’s Quite Opinionated When It Comes To Its Standards And Patterns Is Ember.
In this talk, Leo Hernandez will introduce the powerful and convention driven framework for developing Single Page Applications, Ember. The talk will demonstrate the “Ember’ way to creating applications by taking advantage of conventions that let developers focus on feature code instead of boilerplate.
The talk will walk us through different Ember concepts including the CLI, Ember Data (the ORM library for interfacing with APIs), Web Components, Stateful URLs, among others. In conclusion, talk attendees should get broad knowledge of the framework and feel prepared to attend and participate in the subsequent Ember workshop.Following a convention over configuration paradigm that scales well to large projects, Ember lets developers create very powerful and large projects by tapping into its adapters, components, routers, mixins, and much more.
Although it is an MVC flavored framework, some of the features in the 2.0 version employ a components-oriented approach. Examining these implications, this lecture will provide an overview of the latest changes that have been introduced in Ember.
