In order to increase access to CAST programming and respond to the growing interest of students and universities in online learning, creating online course options has rich potential. This presentation will discuss the unique opportunities and challenges presented by online learning in CAST. Online tools that can increase student engagement and communication skills will be highlighted. Additionally, online tools which facilitate effective multidisciplinary group work will be showcased. Preliminary feedback of the CAST program as a whole and early lessons learned from online course piloting will be discussed as well.
