Effective Code Reviews – Eliminating LGTM

A session at CoderCruise

Monday 17th July, 2017

4:00pm to 5:00pm (CST)

Probably the most popular comment on pull requests is “LGTM.” A code review is your last chance to stop bad code from getting to production. We should treat the process as more than an annoyance. What should we look for in a code review? What process should we follow, so bad code doesn’t make it to production? In this talk, we’ll cover effective code reviews and how to use them to reduce technical debt, improve your developer’s skills, and end world hunger (not a guarantee).
