Redis is an in-memory data store in use by companies such as Twitter, GitHub, StackOverflow and many others. It is used as a database, a cache and a message broker and it is ultra-super-hyper fast! While you could setup your own servers and deploy Redis on them, Azure Redis Cache gives you access to a secure, dedicated Redis cache, managed by Microsoft and accessible from any application within Azure with minimal effort and zero maintenance.
In this session you're going to discover Azure Redis Cache and learn how to deploy, work and monitor the Azure offering of Redis-as-a-Service.
