One-stop e-government portal concept refers to accessibility of public services in a single platform. E-government should be capable in providing a one-stop point-of- service that access channel shall convey a simple and effective image of government. This is to fulfil e-government users’ need that demands effective one-stop e-government portal which provides central access to all government services in a single window. However, the barriers to realize this need depend on contribution and collaboration among government agencies to provide e-government applications and services through one-stop e-government portal. Therefore, development of effective one-stop e-government portal (1EGSP) needs effective integration and interoperability among E-Government Application Providers (EGAP) and E-Government Service Providers (EGSP). The solution needs simple and effective integration and interoperability based on open solution. This work proposed an open source solution that provides a few features. First, it offers one-stop centre to e-government applications for end-users of portal.
Second, it provides hosting of e-government application in the portal. Third, integration and interoperability of e-government applications and services are embedded as a cohesive system across government agencies. The solution provides complete development option from the front-end development to integration and interoperability of application and services by using open source development and implementation platform.
