Product Management is a nascent discipline, particularly in software and even more particularly in Ireland. But what can history teach us about Product Management, and ultimately help us to avoid the same mistakes? What can the conquistadors tell us about entering new markets? why did a horses backside determine, and restrict, some of the 20th centuries greatest technology innovation? What can a hosier from the industrial revolution teach us about market dynamics? These are some of the questions I will be answering. This session is an irreverent, left-field but practical analysis of how we, as Product Managers, can learn and improve from history.
