Get Lanyrd on your mobile (iPhone, Android and more) - check it out here

See your contacts' event plans on Twitter.com with our new browser extension

Now you can get Lanyrd information about a person directly on Twitter.com! Install our new browser extension (for Chrome or Firefox) to see events people are speaking at, slides and video from talks they have given, and even which sessions they are presenting or plan to attend.

Want to know where you can meet the people you follow on Twitter? Ever seen someone tweet something related to a conference and wondered where they were? Our brand new browser extension has you covered.

Simply install the extension (a couple of clicks in Firefox or Google Chrome) and browse Twitter normally. We'll add Lanyrd information to over 35,000 Twitter profiles, showing future event plans, slides and videos and even books they've written. The extension works even if you don't have a Lanyrd profile yourself.

As well as showing people's upcoming events and any sessions they are speaking at, if they are attending SXSW Interactive and use our SXSW schedule planner we can show the next few sessions they plan to attend too. This should be really handy for figuring out where you can catch up with someone. For example, take a look at Andy Baio's embedded profile:

We've been playing with the extension for a few days and have found it really useful to see ambient information about events people are attending. We hope you think so too!

Love it. I've been using the Raplet for a while now in Gmail, and this makes checking out Twitter profiles more useful too. Thanks, guys! :-)

Nice. Don't suppose there is any chance of a Safari extension? http://developer.apple.com/devce...
