Welcome, Tom Insam

We're excited to welcome Tom Insam, developer extraordinaire and latest addition to the Lanyrd team.

Tom was previously an engineer at Dopplr, joining Nokia after their acquisition. He is a prolific producer of side projects, and can be found tinkering with Ruby, Python, Objective-C, Java, and pretty much any other programming language or environment he comes across.

We have a "deploy on the first day" policy here at Lanyrd, which forces us to ensure new hires have a full development environment, account access and the ability to deploy code to the live site on their first day with working with us. Tom fixed a gnarly search bug on his first day and has been steadily working his way through our bug tracker, finding time to fix a whole bunch of stability issues with our iPhone app at the same time (new release coming very soon).
