Welcome, Andrew Godwin

Today we welcome Andrew Godwin, Python hacker and bow-wielding pilot, to the team here at Lanyrd.

If you've ever worked with Django, you're probably familiar with Andrew's work - his South migrations library is the standard Django tool for managing database changes, and he's also a Django core developer.

More recently, Andrew has been mapping the London underground. His Twin Tubes map includes platform and points information (the source code, naturally, is on Github) while his more recent 3D Station Maps use both WebGL and Canvas to render diagrams of stations on the underground, including the highly complex Bank and King's Cross St. Pancras.

Andrew previously worked on ep.io, a cloud hosting provider for Python applications. In his spare time Andrew enjoys archery and learning to fly. Welcome to the team, Andrew!
